Daily Duties at Albertsons Super Valu:
Procure Dairy Product for two Dc's, San Leandro' and Roseville Ca. Maintain proper inventory levels, San Leandro at 3.6 million and Roseville at 1.2 million to ensure projected service level target at 97.5% for both Dcs, projected inventory turns 30 turns in San Leandro and and 25 turns in Rosevelle and shrink below projection with San Leandro at 12k per qtr and Roseville at 5k per qtr. Responsible for managing and maintainig the proper mix of items to maximize sales, profit and customer satisfaction. Build a working relationship with vendor and supplier to insure product availability and on time delivery. work with the warehouse to determine backhaul opportunities to capture lowest cost on full truck and less than truck load deliveries. As a Senior Buyer I had the responsibility of traing and mentoring the buyers to increase productivity and potential.
