This assignement was with the National Capital Area Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge is an interantion, faith-based, durg/alcohol rehabilitation program. Because this chapter of Teen Challenge was ineffective in its core business and because it was financially mismanaged for decades, the national oversight board threatened to close this chapter unless the program was brought into compliance with standards and make it financially profitable. I was hired as a turnaround manger, making it profitalbe. I serve as the Executive Director, primary person running all the day-t-day business operations, restructuring the organization, making it profitalbe and effective in executing its mission. strategic planning and implementing strategic initiatives, community outreach, donor relations.
