Daily Duties at Albertsons Super Valu:
Procure and and Brand Management for the Meat Deli and Service Deli Department Department. Procure and manage the flow of product from supplier to distribution to 238 stores. Maintain an average service level 98.5 to the stores and an average of 2.8 milllion in inventory per week. Responsible for keepimng shrink under 12 thousand per qtr. Maintain the proper mix of items in the department to maximize sales and profits and reduce shrink, Build a working relationship between supplier and vendor to maximise on time deliveries thru proper logistics. establish the lowest case costs by maximizing order quantities, proper logistics and promotional funds. Work closely with the supplier and warehouse to establish the lowest cost and most efficient way of transportation of product from supplier to distribution center. As a senior buyer, i had the responsibility of training and supervising half of buying staff to increase performance potential.
