Thelibrary director monitors, authorises and provides control of operations during the fiscal year for: public services, support services and facilities development upon adoption of an annual budget by the library board of trustees. Specifically the library director provides input, oversight and public accountability for: -a structure of resources that reflects the organization's public service objectives -a continual analysis of each department and how it is meeting its defined objectives -alternative plans responsive to a dynamic serice population -an integrated budget/stragegic planning process
