 Interviewed and re-interviewed infected communicable disease patients and their contacts to obtained information in order to locate or detect the source of infection and prevent further spread of infection.  Conducted field investigation on communicable disease patients, suspects and their contacts.  Located and referred patients to the appropriate diagnostic facility for medical examination and treatment.  Visited laboratories to obtain listing of reactive specimen and report all positive test results to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.  Educated patients on their disease to ensured patient’s completion of the recommended treatment.  Prepared reports on disease patients and their contacts. Built professional relations with other organizations.  Administered, interpreted and documented TB skin tests.
