Daily Duties at Sanyo North America:
LAN/WAN/SERVER Specialist - IT Customer Service Team Lead Full range Server/desktop/network Engineering Design and Support Data Center Design and Maintenance Engineer for the Monterey, Mexico to Toronto Canada, and the S.E.C. Corporate datacenter in Frisco Texas Hardware – HP & IBM Servers, Drive Arrays, Color, Multifunction, and Plotting Printers HP, IBM, Dell, Acer, and Toshiba Laptops and Desktops Applications include MS Office, Lotus Notes, Outlook/Exchange, and SAP Support Initially brought on as a staff augmentation and within 90 days was hired full time, promoted to Datacenter Manager and Primary Customer Service Team Lead for the Energy Division of Sanyo North America and awarded a 21.5% Salary Increase. Tasked with completing a total reengineering the Frisco Datacenter’s cable plant and power grid. Day to Day responsibilities included all Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes as well as providing Level 3 incident support and Project management and implementations. The grid included updating the battery backup system and installing power condition for all of the inbound building power lines to the datacenter.
