Daily Duties at Insight Global:

 Cisco IOS Script Creation & Cisco Catalyst Administrator – Version 12.3  Cisco Change Management for 6500 and 3500 Series Catalyst L2 and L3 Switches  Level 3 Design and Support for the North American Network Infrastructure  Hardware – Cisco, Routers, Switches, and ASA’s  Cisco Layer 2 and layer 3 Network Devices. 2610 Routers, 3500 Series Switches, 1240 Series Wi-Fi Access Points, 6000 and 4500 Catalyst Series IOS Switches, 1841 Series Routers  Applications - MS Office, Outlook/Exchange, and Oracle Client Support The team supports the 802.1X Project IOS Upgrade / Conversion Project. The Bank network has Switches that are not capable of handling the new technology so they need to convert to newer 6500 switches or upgrade the Catalyst OS Based Switches to IOS in bank locations across the US. New switches have wireless IOS built-in versus the old technology. Daily configuring of new switches and ability to convert/replace older switches which are 3560 series. Heavy router/switch hand’s on background and conversion project experience for IOS switches. The project includes doing the testing, configuration, and implementation of the new Cisco Routing and Switching equipment. The network utilizes Catalyst IOS Layer 3 platforms, 6500 and 4500 series, 3700 Series Stackable Gigabit Switching, Multiple Router Platforms, 3000 series VPN concentrators.
