Managed the procurement, warehousing and distribution of 171 million dollars of inventory. Oversee the daily activities of 3 Senior Buyers, 17 buyers and 8 administrative Assistants. Accountable for maintaining a service of 98.5 percent across all departments; Grocery, Frozen, Dairy and General Merchandise. Managed the inventory levels in each department to acheive the targeted DOS, (Days of Supply). Implement and develop procurement strategy and policies and forecast procurement needs. Responsible for Quartly and Yearly Projection pertainming to Service level, profit, DOS and Shrink. Strong negotiation skills with sound business judgment and decision-making. Excellent analytical skills with the ability identify and resolve problems
