Family Counseling Center Work Values

Daily Duties at Family Counseling Center:

Coordinates with schools and all referral sources. Maintains knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and civil detention. Implements critical intervention plans. Conducts intake evaluations and annual reviews on clients of the Youth CPRC Program. Maintains confidentiality standards as outlined in the police and procedure manual. Maintains a working knowledge of the DSM IV TR, including familiarity with diagnostic procedures of all mental disorders. Follows written policies and procedures. Provides field observation and assistance of CPRC staff, during service delivery, as required by program standards. Reviews referrals for placement. Conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings for treatment review. Maintains and improves professional competencies through in-service training and other educational responsibilities. Provides direct consumer counseling. Assures that accurate and timely case records and documents are maintained on all clients, including the provision of such when necessary. Completes annual performance evaluations with proper documentation on all supervised staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Co-Occurring
