• Introduced Journeys Literacy Curriculum in a large geographic school district. • Provided key support for Journey implementation. • Presented at more than 25 districts within one school year. • Employed adult learning theories and techniques to encourage teacher learning and active engagement within the training classroom. • Expanded several accounts by increasing the number of days of service from 27 to 70. • Facilitated full day training for administrators, teachers, and staff in best practices in reading, writing, and math as well as whole group development, Response to Intervention, demo lessons, and coaching. • Coordinated training for newly adopted Common Core State Standards. • Designed courses using Instructional Design techniques such as task analysis, learner analysis, adult learning theories, and the creation of visuals, trainer notes, and participant booklets.
