Daily Duties at Verismo Networks Pvt. Ltd.:
Network Attached Storage (NAS) – A client-server based home application product running on Linux platform. • Involved in debugging, feature addition and product customization of NAS apart from configuration, compilation and debugging of Linux 2.4.6. • Modification of FTP server and SMBD server code; debugging for NAS board besides development of web page in .asp and .HTML for NAS client. Product Monitoring Application – Product designed to monitor certain critical processes running in the Verismo-NAS box and restart the process based on requirement. The product was implemented in C. • Involved in performance optimization and writing of .asp form handlers for the web pages (NAS used Go-ahead web server). IpTV (Internet Television) • Design and implementation of complete client firmware upgrade module with ability to function through Internet or media jockey. VoD (Video on Demand) • Involved in design and implementation.
