Daily Duties at Telstra Australia:
• Worked on a product called Internet Managed Services, building internetworks for customers who wish to outsource their networks to Telstra. We configured networks using Cisco, Bay and Motorola routers over Frame Relay, ISDN or DDN infrastructure. • Project managed the commissioning of new networks through liaising and co-coordinating with all parties involved in order to meet targets set by the customer. • Coordinated / directed onsite restoration activities. • Answered technical queries from external customers and provided technical consultation to internal customers. • Built Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
