Daily Duties at National Gypsum Corp.:
• As a Lead Man Mechanic for National Gypsum Corp., accomplished single handily or with assistance all emergency, routine, preventative mechanical/electrical repairs and equipment inspections within the facility. • Proficiency in plumbing, welding, machining, metal fabrication, pumps, interpreting blueprints. • Electrical knowledge, troubleshooting of 110, 230, 480 volt three phase systems. • Extensive knowledge of programming, troubleshooting, and operation of variable frequency drives. • Excellent mechanical troubleshooting capabilities. • Provide equipment specific training, technical information to less experienced maintenance staff • Interfaced closely with maintenance manager, plant manager, plant engineer, in planning, coordinating, completing capitol equipment projects within allotted time and budget parameters.
