Daily Duties at National Gypsum Corp.:
• Ensure a “Safety First” environment through full compliance with OSHA, CAL OSHA safety regulations. Facilitate monthly safety meetings • Consistently operate within yearly repair budget and labor budget allocation • Supervise maintenance technicians within a 22 acre, 100 million dollar industrial facility, including facility grounds • Train and assist new employees, manage training documentation • Liaison with plant manager, plant engineer in planning, coordinating, completing capital equipment projects within allotted time and budget parameters • Plan, receive bids, implement and manage capital project work of outside contractors and vendors • Manage budgets for outside contractor and vendor capital projects
