Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin :

Contracts, Subcontracts & Procurement responsibility for the Space Support and Global Strike (SS&GS) business area ($300M) encompassing engineering development, sustainment, facilities, and production projects in Santa Maria, CA, Albuquerque, NM, and Colorado Springs CO. Worked collaboratively with Sr. Program Management in the planning, proposal development, execution, and control of contracted services to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Ensured all projects were compliant with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Respond to government Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and audits directing company resources to ensure the Corporation's proposals and cost reporting are credible and consistent with government regulations. Promoted to Regional Supply Chain Manager in 2004 accountable for ensuring planned acquisition, controlled material flow, timely receipt, and successful integration of approximately $245M of purchased material and subcontracted systems for Western Region site programs including operations in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Specific programs supported (both on acquisition and implementation teams) include the Transformational Satellite Communications Mission Operations System (TMOS) proposal development in San Jose, CA -$2.1B, the Range Standardization and Automation (RSA IIA) restructure in Santa Maria, CA - $700M and the Engineering, Development & Sustainment (EDS) follow-on in Albuquerque, NM - $50M. Strategic leadership responsibility for these sites as part of program management team responsible for capturing new business, establishing effective relationships with critical suppliers, recruitment and retention of employees, and sound policy development across the enterprise to ensure program success. Developed and coordinated process improvements to ensure the Corporation utilized best practices to maintain CMMI level five standards. Supervised a staff of 45.
