Daily Duties at Soldier Support Institute:

• As the course manager for the Army Recruiter Course, I maintain and develop training products to keep the current recruiting force competent and adaptive to the current market and mission. I develop effective training programs that systematically meet identified training needs and appropriately design content for multi-echelons of comprehension. Applying the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation Model, I determine the most effective training strategies, methods, materials, and settings to correspond with each type of training need. I manage course equipment and ensure classes can be scheduled as planned. Through professional development, I maintain a progressive knowledge of the trends in training development as it relates to software applications, training industry topics, information, techniques, and equipment. I make recommendations to the Director of Training and school Commandant on upgrading training software, programs, materials, and methods of delivery and develop appropriate and comprehensive training products with required explanations, examples, and demonstrations, which effectively address varying levels of comprehension, through tailored delivery, during Initial Key Personnel Training.

What they like about Soldier Support Institute:

Working for a company with an emphasis on social values and helping society is a clear and important priority for you - a critical factor in who you choose to work for. In contrast to other factors, you place an organization's reputation for fairness and concern for the community above most other aspects of the company. As you search for a new job opportunity, it is usually possible to find out if the company is involved in the community and/or if it is addressing problems and issues in society. Pay special attention to non-profit organizations and those specifically involved in social action. Moreover, speaking with current and former employees should enlighten you to perceptions of the fairness of the company's leaders and the treatment of employees.
