Daily Duties at Via Sat, Inc.:

Implement and enforce proper control and accountability of Communication Security (COMSEC) material and equipment for all accounts. Maintain up-to-date records and initiate all required reports(e.g. accounting, incidents) to appropriate agencies and departments. Support all Electronic Key Management Systems (EKMS) activities, along with Local Management Device/Key Processor (LMD/KP). Review violations of computer security procedures and discuss procedures for training. Monitor use of data files and regulate access to safeguard information in computer files. Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency. Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.
