Daily Duties at Trican Well Service:

 Design CemPro simulations based on customer specifications  Calculate job requirement parameters  Submit lab requests/approve lab reports  Generate detailed proposals utilizing collected well information  Coordinate priority testing for the laboratory  Inform sales and operations departments of required testing  Train programmers on job responsibilities  Provide technical support for field personnel Project Profile| A detailed break-down of my workflow process Request for Proposal Consult on bidding process; receive/provide background information, perform preliminary well data analysis, and draft initial project proposal. Project Overview Once awarded a job, required lab testing is initiated after consulting with the sales and the operations’ departments. A detailed timeline is then provided to the lab personnel. If a model is requested, a preliminary simulation will be performed based on the initial information the customer provided. Process Revision After contacting the client and receiving the final lab report, the project proposal is revised according to refined updated specifications; which might include adjusting budgets, material requirements, and plans of action. Analysis & Reporting Once the project begins, additional lab testing may be requested for further analysis. This may include transporting bulk plant cement samples to the laboratory for accuracy, confirmation, and compatibility testing. The project plan of action may be revised to incorporate findings. Job Auditing During intervals in the project timeline, I perform workflow analysis and job audits to ensure that job execution and crew performance are at optimal levels. Also monitor project timelines to ensure targets are executed accordingly. Client Communications Ensure all required paperwork/reports are reconciled with work crews, and submit to proper channels, internally and externally. Also, I answer general queries and provide clients with general information about project workflow and processes. Post-Job Treatment – Once the project is complete, I submit a final report that includes: final proposal; subsequent lab/treatment reports; final costs; CemPRO report (if required); and data spreadsheets charting workflow variables for each string of pipe. Once the report is reviewed by superiors, I submit it to clients as part of the closeout process.
