Daily Duties at Abode Communities:

Manage and oversee all HR functions, including planning, developing, implementing, and administration of the company’s human resources (employment, compensation, benefits, staff development, employee relations, legal compliance, equal opportunity employment, affirmative action) and the health and safety programs. Develop and administer programs, procedures, and accountability/performance systems to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company. Oversee and manage the work of the Human Resources and Administrative staff. Monitor human resources and administration to establish standards and procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement and resolves discrepancies. Develop and monitor an annual budget that includes Human Resources services, employee recognition programs, and staff development programs. Provide expert advice on Human Resources policies and practices, complex employee relations, hiring/firing situations, determining appropriate compensation ranges, establishing solid HR systems, and staff development. Provide oversight of the operational aspects of the organization such and facilities, office management, reception and equipment. Work with management to integrate professional and career development into the corporate culture and daily operation. Establish, implement and manage company’s recruiting and hiring practices and procedures.
