Daily Duties at I Gate (Patni Computer Systems):
Unit Testing, Integration Testing & Debugging. Smoke testing of the Service Modules on DIT and SIT environments. Creating test case estimates according to the SRS/SDS documents. Creating test cases on the basis of the estimates from the SRS/SDS documents. Execution of the test cases in Quality Center. Defect tracking using Kintana and ClearQuest. Analyzing test case scenarios on one platform to merging them with client specific platform. Client interaction to discuss project status and clarify queries related to functionalities. Interacting with the new team members to guide them on various testing tasks. Status reporting on a daily basis. Configuration Management with version control using Visual Source Safe.
