Duties: Administering and troubleshooting problems related to Systems Administration, i.e. Active Directory, Group Policy Management, server management, permissions, managing incident, problem, and change tickets in accordance with change management guideline Provide technical support to systems users, including ensuring that the user understands what the incumbent has communicated; organize work in order to meet deadlines and user demands; understand and follow directions and repair computer equipment as required. Daily track and monitor the problem and performance analysis of the systems to ensure that the hardware and software are performing as expected and to flag any events that could pose potential problems, and to provide a timely resolution. Research, identify and analyze business specifications and requirements for systems enhancement and resolve existing/new issues. Create, modify and configure codes using MS Visual Studio, PowerShell, MS SQL management tools as needed. Interact with various departments to determine needs, identify tasks, establish project schedules, etc. Draft end user directed communications related to upcoming changes. Set up and install servers OS and applications. Deploy applications and configuration scripts, security patches to computers using industry standard tools (Altiris, SCCM, InstallShield).
