Daily Duties at Ford Motor Company Visteon Division:

Customer primary point of contact, interface engineer of assigned steering gear products of three current production vehicle programs and one program on launch mode. Maintain daily communication with the customer, design engineers, suppliers, purchasing, program managers and the steering manufacturing plant on all design related issues. Responsible of the resolution of warranty returns from the four vehicle program under my lead. Responsible to provide timely delivery to all customer requests. Responsible to obtain customer approvals for all documents such as alerts to ship products with exceptions, last minute design changes requests, tests results approvals, etc. Manage the status of cost reduction studies with the product design engineers and purchasing teams.
