Daily Duties at Genentech:

• Responsible for ensuring pharmaceutical drugs were within described requirements set forth by the governing bodies (FDA and ISO) within QC Environmental Microbial and Molecular and QC Site Product Testing groups. • Initiated and investigated discrepancies and OOS/OOT using Trackwise software. Retested when necessary and entered all data into LIMS Labware software for close of reports. • Instrumental in validation of state of the art facility and equipment contained within. • Supervised over Environmental QC testing for the Site Product Testing group, implemented test scheduling by coordinating with Utilities and took part in creating learning plans for fellow workers. • Performed Final Product and in-process testing for release; spectrophotometry, pH, LAL, HPLC using Waters Empower and Agilent equipment, PCR, Volume in Container (ViC) and bioburden to ensure drug formulations met the required specifications set out by the certificate of analysis. • Created maintenance program that increased maintenance performance from 80% to 97% within 2 weeks of creation. • Altered inventory control program to increase efficiency and timeliness, and also established flow process for in-process and final product review.
