Daily Duties at Hanesbrands, Inc.:

Supervised processing freight payments through 3rd-party provider, including speaking with the 3rd-party freight payment provider personnel about freight invoice exceptions to be processed or new assumptions to be made to reduce the number of exceptions to be processed; process freight invoice exceptions for the week's freight bills to be processed; worked with Lois, my report to review her portion of the exceptions to see if she needed some help with her exceptions; worked with Tim, the other manager to see if he had any questions about exceptions or invoice coding; talk with freight carriers about invoices they claimed needed to be paid, but for which we had no invoices; attended meetings usually weekly, sometimes ad hoc with UPS restructure committee; meet with my Director as necessary, usually stand-up; weekly and monthly made JEs of freight payments, and accruals of unpaid freight bills; after month-end balance sheet account reconciliation for presentation to my Director and Corporate General Accounting
