•Managed the credit team of 8 (analysts & collectors combined). Managed trade credit portfolios with loan sizes of $350k up to $10 million. •Responsibilities include portfolio management and new business development in the State of California, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona. •Conducted through investigations of new customers and determine credit worthiness using comparative financial statement analysis. Reviewed new prospects and approved or declined customer credits in accordance with the company policy. Assisted Credit Manager and Sales Personnel with other credit procedures as necessary. •Assisted collectors monitored high-risk accounts, collections and payment negotiations. •Communicated credit issues and potential high risk accounts with management. •Prepared and delivered performance reviews on existing customers. Determined trade credit limit increases or decreases as necessary with required recommendations. Analyzed financial statements (corporate/business tax returns, business & personal financial) and performed income tax analysis for use in new loan approval and ongoing compliance credit relationships of existing customers. Performed financial projections.
