Daily Duties at Nestle Usa:
•Primary Responsibilities - Gathered and interprets financial information on customer effectively and sets credit lines with approval authority up to $500,000. Prepared credit write-up for appropriate recommendation of financing requests. Analyzed credit and financial strength of new applicants. Presented credit facilities to Credit Committee for formal approval. Managed and maintain accounts receivable. Interaction with multiple internal and external customers daily. Cultivate relationships with credit reporting agencies (D&B, Credit Risk Monitor, Seafax, FoodOne, F&D Reports, and Hoovers) and legal providers. •Customer Service - Reviewed and release hold merchandise orders on a daily basis. Advised Credit Manager & other impacted parties on issues being addressed. Build and maintain rapport with our customers, sales force and other sources of trade information. Performed in a customer service capacity by answering credit inquiries and customers' questions, act as liaison to sales, sales service, order management and AR team. Order release resolution coordination and communications. •Accounts Receivable Collections - Maintained a minimum of past due accounts and worked with the collectors as necessary. Reviewed and updated accounts and credit files. Verified EDI transition/invoicing with the IT team. Generated collection correspondence and assisted telephone collections on accounts needing escalation. Determined the appropriate collection method that includes visits to customer's site, the use of the sales force, telephone communication, written correspondence, collection agencies and or legal action. Control DSO (days sales outstanding) and the percent of past due dollars over sixty days with the collectors.
