•Managed the accurate and timely processing of financials using accounting principles. •Performed financial audits in key areas of risk including bank reconciliations, budget review, expense reports, strategic planning, fraud, embezzlement controls, liquidity and funding sources, accounting concepts, GAAP, Asset Liability Management (ALM) analysis and reviewing vendor contracts. •Performed compliance audits including Bank Secrecy Act compliance and investments. •Facilitated internal and external audits as a result of sound record keeping and thorough documentation. •Instituted thorough cross-checking of expenses and invoices that halted a history of thousands of dollars in over payments to suppliers. •I developed budget variance reports to minimize annual expenditures. •Provided guidance for contract negotiations with suppliers/vendors to improve cash flow. •Knowledge of financial reporting and the ability to evaluate financial statements and financial records. •District manager for financial institutions to ensure adherence to policies, federal rules and regulations. •Prepared written reports and conducted presentations of audit findings to the Board of Directors. •Provided assistance in structuring transactions and developing credit recommendations and loan portfolio monitoring including covenant compliance. •Researched and Identified strengths and weaknesses of client relationships. •Reviewed and verified the HUD-1, note, security agreement, three-day right of rescission, GFE, contract, liens, TIL, were properly executed and recorded. •Prepared reports and analyses in areas such as lending, budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts. •Reviewed credit write-ups to determine compliance with federal laws. •Worked effectively and cooperatively with Relationship Managers and other colleagues in achieving goals. •Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. •Reviewed and assessed the maximum amount of assets, in relation to net worth, to be invested in a particular loan portfolio and recommended risk ratings.
