Daily Duties at Alcatel Usa:
-Supervised teams of subcontractors responsible for installation of Broadband equipment. Ensured that subcontractors were gainfully employed, coordinated with contractors, engineers, and supply to identify equipment shortages/secure additional parts, pro-actively worked to ensure installation progression. -Turned-Up and tested optical networks, including Broadband DS3-0V42, STS1 to DS0 levels, and customer interfaces. Worked with customers daily to provide updates, training, and ensure customer satisfaction. -Updated and maintained customer engineering specifications regarding cable, power, and signal levels in accordance with industry standards. -----Instructed customers on how various operating systems interact, trouble signs to be aware of and issues that needed further attention. -Trained new employees on company policies and procedures, as well as daily expectations and technical troubleshooting. -Successfully completed the first major multi-million dollar iMTN DACS project with no audit defects and complete customer satisfaction/backing.
