Daily Duties at Epoch Counseling Center:
Conduct intake assessments on both adolescents and adults, using ASI, POSIT, SASSI, and ASAM criteria; Facilitate adult and adolescent group therapy as well as family therapy sessions to primarily address substance dependence related issues as well as co-morbid disorders; Provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents; Work in Baltimore County schools as part of the Maryland Student Assistance Program (MSAP), facilitating group and individual counseling; Providing assessments to high-risk adolescents and Children of Alcoholics/Addicts; Provide support and case management including referrals to community resources, treatment planning, discharge planning, and insurance monitoring for clients; Work closely with referral sources such as Probation and Parole, Department of Juvenile Services, and Department of Social Services; and provide them with monthly status reports; Supervise urinalyses for female adolescents and adults; Attend community meetings and perform other marketing activities within the community
