Served as Senior Systems Engineer, supporting over 90 workstations, running WindowsXP operating systems. Maintained full accountability for overseeing all facets of day-to-day infrastructure administration and technical support. Performed Project Manager duties, and directed refresh, fiber optic, and, Smartboard installation projects. Directed all hardware/software system reviews, identified and addressed existing and potential issues, and created proactive repairs, upgrades, patches, and enhancements for optimal results. Facilitated the timely performance of network design, implementation, and support, involving cabling, configuration, and administration, further illustrating technical acumen. Played a key role in promoting Active Directory implementation to administer User Accounts, Groups Policy, Permissions, and Updates. Identified and conducted troubleshooting, evaluated and resolved hardware and software issues, further illustrating problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Delivered continual AS400 support, and provided detailed Oracle database management. Successfully prepared and integrated a broad range of different Internet/Intranet access and HTML addresses. Offered active support to senior management involving critical decision-making, and planning initiatives, by efficiently compiling, and producing, detailed reports. Provided secondary support for server administration/monitoring/troubleshooting, and direct support of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software on district standard approved systems. Managed numerous projects, in various stages of completion, that involved normal network troubleshooting, to operational implementation. Served as Webmaster, and directed website creation, design, and maintenance. Controlled purchasing, and implementation of hardware and software equipment. Coordinated training for administrative team members, staff, and parents, to increase mastery of school based information system.
