Daily Duties at Us Navy:

Operate and maintain the most formidable Fleet of nuclear-powered submarines and aircraft carriers on the planet. Pursue the highest degree of intellectual and personal challenges in the nuclear field. Apply nuclear energy and fundamentals of engineering in ways that not only help to defend our national security but also serve to better our world. Navy Nuke EMN2: As a senior operator and supervisor, contributed greatly to the awarded performance of USS George Washington on all operational, training, and maintenance exams from 2000 – 2004. Load Dispatcher: Responsible for control of the ship’s entire electric plant. Lead a team of nuclear watch-standers in operating and maintaining vital reactor and combat systems equipment. Directed recovery of power to US Aircraft Carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) during loss of power casualty. Shutdown Reactor Operator: Conducted reactor heat-up operations, precritical check-off operations, trip point and calibration tests, and various other reactor operations. Provided planned maintenance system and safety training to division personnel in preparation for annual 3M maintenance audit. Awarded Admiral’s Letter of Commendation: Commander Cruiser Destroyer Group Two.
