Daily Duties at Computer Data Systems, Inc.:
Served as network services consultant contractor, at Saufley Field and downtown Pensacola for the Defense Financial Accounting Service (DFAS) activity, specifically assigned to the Quality and Assurance Testing Organization (QATO) activity out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Researched and developed installation and configuration procedures for newly selected DFAS server and desktop applications on multiple hardware platforms. Assisted in publishing those procedures into QATO lab install and configuration guides that were nationally distributed. Provided phone and onsite technical support for multiple DFAS field locations supporting existing installs and deployments. Participated on the Defense Travel Pay System (DTPS) project, as a member of the advance technical site prep team. Made extended trips to multiple locations, working with each sites IT departments to install, configure, and begin classroom training of local staff in the use of the DTPS database application.
