Local network administrator supporting in house 80 users over a multi-site LAN/WAN environment. Provide network and desktop administration and support of server and workstation platforms, as well as all forms of network peripheral equipment and communications. Experienced with Microsoft Server 2008R2, Server 2003, and Server 2000, Novell 6.1, VMware ESX & ESX 3I, Vsphere virtual center Client, Ubuntu Server, CITRIX, WebEx, McAfee Enterprise antivirus, SafeBoot, and McAfee Endpoint Encryption. Support Windows 7 Professional and all of its previous versions, Microsoft Office 2010 Professional and its previous versions, including MS Access and Visual basic/.NET., Extra Attachmate terminal emulation software. Provide multiple mainframe system administrative security officer support functions, as well as support use of departmental Web based systems. Have excellent technical and interpersonal skills and contribute as a team player in the organization I serve, as well as those external organizations I interface with. Quickly resolve challenges to consistently deliver the highest application availability to staff. Have delivered classroom training as well as provide daily one-on-one user training and support. Daily I review and prioritize active projects and dynamically incorporate/prioritize new additions as they arrive. I routinely evaluate and analyze procedures and identify ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and user satisfaction. frequently serve as beta site for new application evaluation prior to state wide adoption and distribution.
