Daily Duties at Charlotte Mecklenburg School District:
-Coordinated teacher’s weekly curriculum planning sessions in all content areas including writing/editing/proofreading and scoring student work. -Oversaw the placement of college students with classroom teachers for the purpose of clinical studies assignments. -Mentored/coached Teach for America teacher on transitioning into the profession, creating quality lessons, behavioral support, and other aspects of the profession as needed. -Assisted with ongoing staff development to support teachers with school wide initiatives. -Assisted with the RTI (Response to Intervention Process) for the purpose of analyzing data of students with special needs and developing and providing strategies for success. -Conducted teacher classroom observations to provide feedback as well as for the purpose of end of year evaluations.
