Daily Duties at Riverbed :
I was Contracting at Riverbed while the Company was implementing EITF 08-1, a new Software guideline to recognize revenue for Services and Products . AS a Senior Revenue Analyst I was part of a Revenue team responsible for managing the end-to-end accounting, business and system process required to analyze, account for and report VSOE sustenance and corresponding fair value deferrals, pursuant to SOP 97-2 and EITF 08-1/09-3. 1. Evaluated and maintained data integrity in the newly implemented application to calculate fair value analysis under EITF 08-1. 2.Calculated and analyzed data to determine the Company’s best estimate of selling price for fair value calculations. Articulated issues and their financial impacts to Revenue Department 3.Ability to work with and analyzed large amounts of data and was a key resource in ad-hoc allocation carve-out analysis for senior management. 4.Calculate revenue deferrals under EITF 08-1 and SOP 97-2.
