Daily Duties at Coram Healthcare:

responsible for identifying and marketing to physicians who have home infusion needs. growing infusion therapy referrals from hospital based case managers. Hired: to maintain and grow infusion revenue in Core Therapy Business Unit, or profitable business. How I did it: sought out Infectious Disease, Neurologists, Rheumatologist for Lyme Disease, Gastroentrologist, GynOnc Surgeons, GI Surgeons for Total Parental Nutrition. Pulmonologists for Prolastin and Neurologist for Immune Globulin -educated physicians and healthcare providers how Coram didn’t subcontract their work. Coram had pharmacists, dietiticans, and their own infusion nurses. - educated physicians Coram had an outcomes management program which monitored infection rates and hospital readmissions due to site infection
