Daily Duties at The Taubman Company:
Executive Assistant promoted 12/11 due to proven excellence. Supported Senior Vice President of Leasing, fifth in the hierarchy of the corporation of over a thousand employees nationally. Adeptly managed VPs busy schedule and ensured day-to-day activities operated smoothly in a very fast-paced environment. Communicated skillfully with all levels of internal management, staff, and outside tenants; including Apple, Banana Republic, and Nike. Gathered information from databases, external resources, and other department personnel in order to prepare VP for meetings. In addition, prepared management level presentation materials and planned and implemented leasing department meetings by coordinating schedules, executing complex travel arrangements, preparing conference rooms, handling catering services, and conference calls. Achieved routine tasks such as answering phones, maintaining files, and generating expense reports. Administrative Assistant 12-07 - 12/11. Supported Leasing Agents in leasing vacant spaces in a multitude of malls throughout the nation and renewing existing leases with tenants. Directed lease formation by gathering or creating all necessary documentation within established procedures to comply with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Assisted Leasing Agents productivity by creating travel arrangements and submitting expense reports. Supported achievement of leasing goals in a high-pressure environment by working with multiple leasing agents, tenants, and departments; coordinating information; and established priorities to ensure deadlines were being met. During 2007, worked in various temporary positions within the Taubman Company such as Marketing, Specialty Leasing, Customer Affairs, and the Executive Office which provided me with an in-depth understanding of the Property Management business.
