Daily Duties at Bbva Compass Bank:
Provide Accounting support for the SBA Division program. • Primary functions include prepare note modifications, review interest rate changes, prepare payoff quotes, amortization schedules, review and approve payment posting, review and approve daily 1502’s, SBA 172 Forms, and audit loan boarding 7a and 504 packages. • Primary resource person in the Accounting Department for all liquidation loans. This includes processing Non Accrual loans, Charge offs, SBA Receivables, SBA Guaranty Repurchases, Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Loans, Express Loans, USDA Loans, Sale of REO Assets, Discount Valuations and Write downs. • Review and reconcile various accounts: Colon Trust FTA Account, Guaranty Fees DDA, Express Receivables Account, and Liquidation Receivables Account. • Develop comprehensive month end and management reports such as Credit Administration Report, New Loans Report, Aging Report, Colson Month End 1502 Report, Express Loans Report, and Deferred Cost Report. • Compose effective and accurate accounting reports to management and external reporting to Small Business Administration and Colson Services Corporation. Ensure balances and interest paid to dates are consistent and accurate, and communicate with team members to make certain reports are completed and submitted on time. • Proficient with PCFS Loan Manager System. • Became a sufficient backup for team members and manager. Able and eager to step up as needed and take on additional roles and responsibilities. Lead for ongoing ARMS project and Moody’s Risk Analyst Project.
