Managed Emerging Group consisting of Travel & Leisure, Partner Solutions (third party), Social & Polling, Automotive and Petroleum, and Energy & Transport. Worked as a consultant, managing up to 100 staff and $65M in budget. Sold marketing research and directed five business units including public affairs. Worked in Automotive, Energy and Transportation, Travel and Hospitality, Polling, Public Affairs and Third Party Research divisions. Turned-around company sales. TNS’ previous manager focused on making quick, but unprofitable sales, and the firm needed improved strategies. Led 27 account exec’s and 60 project managers to drive sales, servicing and marketing research to hospitality and travel clients. Reversed old strategies. Generated stellar sales through improved strategies. Implemented plan, exceeding expectations. Selected by TNS to grow sales, reduce costs and improve margins in a unit responsible for 20% of company revenues. Cross-trained groups and implemented sales and communication plan. Improved operating income, revenue base and margin. Commended for freeing-up operating income in a down economy.
