Daily Duties at King Fahad National Guard Hospital:
I was hired initially as the Assistant Director of Nursing. The person I was replacing ended up staying a few months longer so I started as a Shift Coordinator (House Supervisor) until she left. As the Assistant Director Nursing, I had responsibilities for about half of the hospital, 332 beds, primarily Medical-Surgical, Transplant Unit, ER, Burn Unit, VIP ward and the Royal Suites. I was promoted to Director of Clinical Nursing, the number one position for nursing. I had full responsibilities for the division of nursing with international staff.
