My responsibilites was to install and maintain their voice and data network which not only included their Corp office but also 29 foreign locations. Some of key responsible was as follows: - Ensure that all circuits (voice & data) was up and fully operational - Ensure all voice & data equipment were kept updated and fully operational - Responsible ofr managing an annual $3 million dollar Telecommunication budget which has been under budget by $300,000.00 to $400,000 annually for the past 8 years. -Responsible for a Dept Budget of approximately $1 million dollars annually. -Responsible for all Telecommunications billing company-wide, which includes celluar phones, satellite phones, radios, telephone, ship-to-shore communications and microwave links. -Responsible for procurement and implementation of a Telecommunication Bill Management System. -Responsible for both the Vocie & Data Infrastucture for 30 International locations. -Installed various UPS's in both US & International Locations -Planned and implemented various communications racking systems to support both Voice & Data communication equipment in dozens of new and existing locations. -Responsible for the purchase and installation of 30 Avaya Phone Systems both Domestic & International. -Designed and implemented a wide area Voice Network covering 30 different locations which produced and estimated $275,000.00 cost saving a year by eliminating long distance charges in various locations, migrating to a 5-digit dial plan company-wide -Support 17 Voice Mail System -Responsible for the purchase and installation of all WAN related Data Equipment which included the following -81- Cisco Switches -29 Cisco Routers -Several Core Cisco Catalysts (6509 &4506) -2 Cisco 4404 Wireless Lan Controller & 1 ACS -Responsbile for the designed and implementation of (12) different Call Centers in on six different systems both domestic and international using the Avaya CMS -Responsible for the design and implementation of over 150 Cisco Wireless Access Points utilizing (3) Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and an ACS -Responsible for the implementation of a Wireless Network using EAPTLS security protocal & a Guest Wireless Network. -Responsible for the managment of 37 Watch Guard Firewall, Sonci SSLVPN's and several Cisco VPN's
