Directly responsible for overall dealership operations and the P&L success. Hired and supervised seven department managers and indirectly responsible for a support team of 76 employees. Played a hands-on management role in the dealership to ensure that the business was positioned for long term growth and success. Set annual budgets, developed business plans and forecasts, established pay plans and authorized new/pre-owned vehicle purchases. Hired, trained, motivated and retained staff by using positive reinforcement and the concept of the customer comes first.
