Daily Duties at General Dynamics Corporation, Information Technology Division, :

Program Manager (Department of Commerce International Trade Administration (DOCITA) contract) • February 2009 – September 2009 As program manager for the DOCITA contract, managed and coordinated all required deliverables and contract requirements necessary to maintain 24/7 operations and project support for DOCITA’ network infrastructure. This was accomplished with providing daily PMO reports, hosting weekly contract meetings, providing weekly status reports on accomplishment and submitting required deliverables in a timely manner. Supervised a staff of (26), which were located in Headquarters and in Field sites. Interfaced daily with the customer, to provide status on ongoing operation and project activities. Monitored the contract budget, to ensure that all invoices are submitted appropriately and to prevent cost over-run on this Fixed Firm Price (FFP) contract. Responsible for recruiting and hiring of staff, when necessary. Task Manager – Network Engineering (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Contract) • October 2008 – February 2009 Supervised a team of (27) network engineers who provide third tier level technical support to the Networking Operations for FERC. This included tasking of operations and project support for servers, desktops, Commercial Off-the-Shelf applications, and WAN/LAN infrastructure management. Interfaced daily with the customer, to provide status on ongoing operation and project activities. Assisted with creating and managing various project plans which relate to the operational support and infrastructure development. Provided weekly status reports and documentation related to team/contract performance. Implemented re-structuring of support to align with ITIL v3 Foundation format, which included creating and updating the service catalog, re-align reporting structure and product delivery. Actively participated in the recruiting and hiring of staff for new positions on the program.
