Daily Duties at Declark Construction:

I was responsible for the lay-out and completion of framing very high end costom homes in the excess of 18,000 to 35,000 sq. Ft. with a construction budget of $4,800.000 to $12,200.00. I was responsible for running/managing a team of 5. A job would get asigned to me from the owner, i would be given a set of plans i would spend about two days going over the set of plans and high light all the materials that where need to be order by stages of schedule. So all orders are ordered by long lead time items like the Beams larger lumber or special hardware, then orders would be made on a day to day as the material was needed to keep the site clean and safe form poeple steeling the material.(the material cast for a small project was around $20,0000 and for a medium porject $100,000 and for a larger project was anyware from $280,000 to $1,400,000 I would then go to the site after the foundation was reacdy and i would start to lay-out the walls, doors, window, mark out key points that would help to keep the project moving faster. onece this was finished most of the time the material had already arived. My hole team of 5 would bring all the tools and perpare the material to start framing. A small project would take my team 2-4 weeks to finish. A medium project would take my team 2-6 months. A larger project would take my team 1-2 years. I was responsible for all project budgeting, material cost and labor cost. At the end of every day i would double check all the materials was in site or was going to be there in the morning for the next day. I would do this same process every day to the complation of the projact. 95% if my project came in on budget and on schedule.
