Daily Duties at Innova Interiors :
I was the company main designer and project manager for all project within the company. I designed and manage all budgets, schedules and procurement of project-specific materials. My day to day job was to manage the shop and a team of 10 poelpe from shop wood workers and the install team of 2. If we had a install i would make sure the team have all the correct fixtures/furniture, tools and all materials. i would send them on there way to the install site. I would then check on the shop and make sure they all had everything they need all the correct material/hardware all the tools where in good working shape for them. Then i would start on any new projects for finish up with the design or starting a new project/design i would work for a few hours in the office and go to the site where we had the install going to make sure everything was going good and there was know issues with how the install was turning out. I would then check in with the office to see in we had any new leads on i needed to meet with any new projects or take any site measurement for a project. I would also do any reach for new porject for design concepts or trying to find just the right hardware for a porject. Some day a would need to work with our finishing team to work on just the right stain color or the what would be the best option on a finishing style. I would work with our finishing team to come up with new colors or techniques for a unique finish. Established strong business partnerships with clients to understand design parameters. Liaised between clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure communication across multiple design teams. Managed shop personnel to ensure projects were completed per established time and design parameters. Monitored and managed costs including procurement of project-specific materials. Provided on-site oversight on all project installations to ensure quality.
