Daily Duties at Tek Systems:

Projects: Bank of America, Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP, United Health Group, CBS News, Saks 5th Avenue, Weider Publications INC, Liz Claiborne, Creedmoore Psychiatric Center • Use Active Directory to create, modify, enable and disable user accounts. • Add users to the Domain, give user rights • Responsible for adding and removing permissions for applications, folders, resetting user passwords. • Setup users for remote access using Dial-up and VPN. • Rebuild machines using firm’s standard images for all Compaq, HP, Dell PC’s and IBM Think-pad laptops. • Support network connectivity using built in tools, Static/DHCP, in a high-speed network environment. Install, Configure and test TCP/IP, IP addressing/routing in Windows 2000. • Completed Rollout/upgrade from Windows NT to 2000, Office 97 to Office 2000, and Exchange 5.0 to Outlook 2000. • Performed e-mail migrations from Lotus Notes to Exchange. • Provided hands on and over the phone Desktop support running Windows 2000/NT. • Deploy and support Black Berry devices. • Maintain a disaster recovery environment utilizing Netback up and restores files requested by the users. • Reduce response time by implementing VNC software to remote control users PC’s and troubleshoot software problems. • Installing and configuring Netware client 4.7 for windows 2000. • Installing and configuring GroupWise for windows 2000
