Directed all aspects of facility and material handling equipment maintenance for package sortation system/facility FedEx “First of The Next Generation Hubs” covering over 560,000 sq. ft., with 14 direct reports and an annual budget of $1,116,000 +. Department head and technical subject matter expert on system performance, implemented preventive maintenance program, scheduled work force, job planning, budget oversight, ensured inventory of critical spares. Provided technical leadership on optical scan tunnels, conveying system, shoe sorters and IT interface with corporate. Ensured facility wide compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
