Daily Duties at Niit Technologies Limited:
Was Deployed with Earthlink Inc, One of the biggest ISP in US southeast. HQed in Atlanta GA. I was onsite NOC lead responsible for handling daily Network Operations task like monitoring devices using IBM Netcool. Managing ARS requests, Vendor Circuit follow-ups with ATT,Verizon,Covad etc. A team of 15 NOC engineers reported to me from offshore. My daily tasks included co-sourcing between the client and NIIT. I ran daily Incident management and Problem Management calls with Earthlink top brass. Daily audits for the Network Engineers reported directly to me. I use to prepare and present an executive summary for the Earthlink Management on weekly and monthly basis. I was a performance improvement coach for the team and did introduce Customer Satisfaction form where multiple parameters like first call resolution was measured and accordingly design a performance improvement plan for an individual.
