Daily Duties at One Point Patient Care:
-transcribed, verified input prescriptio data, and final reviewed completed orders of 600 to 800 per shift. -completed 60 to 80 telephone calls for prescription orders, recommended therapy, or new admission assessment per shift. -completed STAT and ASAP orders within company policy limit of 10 minutes. -supervised 12 pharmacy technicians performing order entry, filling, and compounding specialized strengths of various opiates for hospice patients. -provided clinical consultation services to patients and therapeutic recommendations to nurses, physicians, and other hospice personnel. -answered customer questions and helped resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. -maintained proper storage and security conditions for medications.
