Daily Duties at Nanoptek Corporation:

As a senior principal scientist I am responsible for fabricating a photocatalyst which is the heart of the Solar Hydrogen Generator. I have explored several semiconducting materials as a candidate for photoelectrode and also explored several dopants to improve the hydrogen generation efficiency of the electrode. I have also worked on researching the right electrolyte and cathode material in solar hydrogen generator for improved hydrogen production. Other than R&D responsibilities, my duties also included managing a chemical lab and oversee chemical waste treatment.
